Final Reflections

 1   Emotions & Feelings Yifei Li    Through Modern Dance this semester, I have learned how to use dance to express my emotions and feelings. The group task of choreographing a dance with the group members was fun. The individual solo was a combination of small pieces from many classes, which made me feel novel and interesting.  The class felt very comfortable;  it was easy to find a pace that I could adapt to. There was also a lot of support given to students. I was often given some reminders and encouragement, such as telling me not to skim others too often when dancing and to focus on my dance. When asked to present our work, we practiced the ability to present ourselves bravely.  I think I will apply the bold expression and group work that I learned in this class to my Psychology major.
